Mayor Linda Tyer's third husband, the multimillionaire CPA Barry Clairmont, is suing former City Councilor and candidate for Mayor Melissa (Mason) Mazzeo for defamation of his character and he is seeking compensatory damages, emotional distress and reputational damages because Melissa never apologized to the sitting Mayor's third husband over a claim that the state government found her complaint against him to be baseless that prior to the 2019 general election: "Barry Clairmont had unauthorized access to ballots inside of City Hall". A pretrial hearing is scheduled to take place on March 27th, 2023, pending Judge Agostini's decision on the motion for summary judgment. Melissa requested that Barry's lawsuit against her be dismissed.
My thoughts about this case are: "Welcome to the club, Barry Clairmont!" In 2020, Alex Morse was subject to a homophobic smear campaign by his own State Democratic Party Officials in Boston, which unfairly benefited K Street corporate lobbyist firms' - especially insurance companies PAC Man - Richie Neal's reelection campaign to his 1,000th term in the Swamp. Unlike Barry, Alex Morse did not sue the political hacks for dragging his name through the mud prior to the 2020 primary election that Alex Morse lost to the ultimate corporate Congressman from Springfield, Massachusetts.
While I am not allowed to write about the Hell I went through as a then young man prior to, during and after my dad was a Berkshire County Commissioner (1997 - mid-2000), none of the people in Pittsfield politics and beyond to Boston who conspiratorially hurt me over and over again ever once apologized to me. In closing, you, Barry, are being a big baby about something that happened to you over 3 years ago, and your wife won her reelection campaign to boot. Please drop the lawsuit because you are the one who is defaming your own character, Barry Clairmont!

First, I went to A Mart and bought me some booze, cigars and cigarettes, and $50 scratch tickets. Second, I went to Luciforo's Pot Kingdom on Dalton Avenue and bought me some of his finest pot products. Third, I went to the Happy Endings Massage Parlor and found it to be very pleasurable and stimulating. Fourth, I went to the cardroom, and I won a few thousands of dollars throwing the lucky dice. Fifth, I went to Cumby's at 3am and talked to Barry about his ongoing lawsuit against Melissa Mazzeo. Sixth, Barry and I walked our route in the inner-city at 4am. Seventh, I stopped at one of the drug houses for some good stuff. Eight, put on my jet pack and flew over Silver Lake. Ninth, I parachuted into Clapp Park at dawn. Tenth, ran naked up and down North Street after I took a big shit on the sidewalk.

Pittsfield politics doesn't mind charging state and local taxpayers top dollar in exchange for rock bottom municipal services. I have followed Pittsfield politics for over 3 decades now, and I am still unable to understand why the city government passes record setting budgets in return for Level 5 public schools, always being a top 10 city in Massachusetts for violent crime, the heavily indebted and polluted PEDA debacle that will turn 25 years old this upcoming Summer 2023, one-party dominance with political insiders who are notoriously corrupt and secretive, and 5 decades of significant population loss - a shrinking middle-class tax base - in a postindustrial distressed economy whereby one is better off receiving government assistance and social services than working in a full-time living wage job that is about as real as Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Pigs with wings that fly around Unicorns, and that goddamned Rolodex that sits on an old fashioned barstool in the Berkshire Museum!

Blogger Dan Valenti wrote and posted: "Wethinks, CHAZ, that this is a sign of the growing alienation between governors and the governed. Citizens don’t trust their representative, and usually with good cause. They know local politics for what it is and do not want to get in the same cage with the animals. Not worth it and dangerous in there, especially if you’re honest, upfront, and not connected."
My response: Then what the Hell is the use of democracy with voters electing their representatives in government? Citizens don't trust their representative sounds a lot like Divide and Conquer, which is the oldest strategy to exploit and take advantage of the people who don't understand what is really going on.
Pittsfield is my native hometown. I understand a lot of the problems there. Level 5 public schools. Severe economic inequality. A distressed economy with little to no living wage jobs. The city always being in the top 10 cities in Massachusetts for violent crime year-in-year-out. Over 1,000 gang members living in the inner-city. Daily shootings. Excessively high municipal taxes, fees, debts and other liabilities in return for "a shit sandwich". One political (Democratic) Party corrupt career politicians who answer to the inequitable political bosses in Boston. The Good Old Boys and Girls political network whose Godfather lives in Naples, Florida, and whose Pot King lives in Boston. 50 years of significant losses in population and living wage jobs. The postindustrial polluted PEDA debacle that is heavily indebted with millions of dollars in unfunded liabilities that will never be paid off.
I am sure that there were, are and will be good people in Pittsfield who will participate in Pittsfield politics to pull the city out of the proverbial ditch. They will have to fight like Hell against their elected officials, bureaucrats and special interests, but almost nothing is impossible. I feel sorry for the old timers who knew the old school Pittsfield when it was a nicer community than it is today. I feel bad for the youth because they may never know that there is a bigger and better world out there than Pittsfield.
There are a lot of "Pittsfields" out there in the "Rust Belt" of the U.S.A. There are a lot of good people who live in the "Pittsfields" who want a better life for themselves and their loved ones. I will always fight for the good people who live in the "Pittsfields" who want more than "a shit sandwich" out of their city and lives.

What case is the worst one:
1. Donald Trump's alleged hush money payment to a porn star?
2. Hunter Biden bringing the half of his age mother of his unwanted 4-year-old girl to an upcoming bench trial on July 24th, 2023, over his monthly child support payments?
3. The ICC issuing an arrest warrant for Putin, and then Putin responding in kind by escalating the threat of nuclear war against the West?
4. Mayor Linda Tyer's third husband Barry Clairmont suing Melissa Mazzeo because she accused him of corruption in Pittsfield politics and Melissa Mazzeo not agreeing to apologize to him over the most trivial of matters from over 3 years ago?
Please let us not forget that Bill Clinton, who is a Democrat, is a twice Convicted Felon for perjuring himself in Paula Jones' Sexual Harassment case against him whereby he ended up settling the civil case with her because he had his penis exposed to her wanting her to give him a blowjob when she entered a room for a job interview when he was Governor of Arkansas. Bill Clinton's second Felony conviction was for Suborning Perjury for directing Monica Lewinsky to write a false legal Affidavit that they never had sex. In the end, Monica Lewinsky admitted to giving U.S. President Bill Clinton up to 9 blowjobs, including the sleazy Prez putting a cigar in her vagina and then smoking it while he was receiving Monica Lewinsky's blowjobs in the Oval Office, which was sarcastically called the "Oral Orifice".
Lastly, whether it was Bill Clinton or Donald Trump, the real issue here is "Moral Hypocrisy"! Over one-half of the Members of U.S. Congress were having sex love affairs with their staff during Bill Clinton's impeachment. Over one-half of the Members of U.S. Congress were settling sexual misconduct cases with hush money - NDAs - and running for reelection just like Donald Trump allegedly did with Stormy Daniels. In NYC, billionaire now former-Mayor Michael Bloomberg paid more hush money to his love interest ladies over the years/decades than there are floors on the Empire State Building, which ended up sinking his presidential campaign in 2020 and his disgraced political career.

Re: Ruling on Melissa Mazzeo's request for summary judgement
"Judge allows defamation suit brought by Mayor Tyer's husband against Melissa Mazzeo to move forward"
By Meg Britton-Mehlisch, The Berkshire Eagle, April 5, 2023
PITTSFIELD — Melissa Mazzeo’s request that a Berkshire Superior Court judge dismiss the defamation lawsuitagainst her by Barry Clairmont has failed, leaving open the possibility that the case will continue to a jury trial in October.
Mazzeo, a former city councilor and one-time mayoral candidate, asked Judge John Agostini to rule that Clairmont, the husband of Pittsfield Mayor Linda Tyer, had failed to meet the legal standard that her statements in the wake of the 2019 mayoral race defamed Clairmont and intentionally inflicted emotional distress.

Hello Blogger Dan Valenti, you and anyone else out there who has read my political emails and blog commentary knows full well that I went through far worse than anyone else in the history of Pittsfield politics over the past 27 years, which started when my dad, Bob, began his campaign for Berkshire County Commissioner in the Spring of 1996 when I was only 20 years old. It amazes me that the Dirty Bird (Berkshire Eagle) wrote editorials about Boston's state Democratic committee's homophobic smear campaign against Alex Morse during the late-Summer months of 2020 when he ran against Richie Neal in the primary election. It amazes me that you, Dan Valenti, write about "Big Baby" Barry Clairmont's civil suit against Melissa Mazzeo for her alleging him being corrupt in Pittsfield politics. YET, you admonished me for writing about the Hell I was put through over the past 27 years of my life and onwards in Pittsfield politics by a disgraced former politician and Pot King who I am not allowed to write about on your blog. I feel that I - Jon Melle - do not count in this world! Nobody cares about how I feel about what happened to me in Pittsfield politics to Boston's Beacon Hill Statehouse. Please understand that I respect you as a journalist and blogger, that I enjoy reading your blog daily, and that you are and always will be a friend of my family. Thank you, Jon Melle

Hello Blogger Dan Valenti,
Please read the letter by Barbara Roberts, Pittsfield, about the lack of living wage jobs in our native hometown. It reminded me of Jimmy Ruberto's Rolodex that sits at the bottom of Silver Lake, and its replica sits atop a barstool in the Berkshire Museum where Norman Rockwell's two gifted paintings used to be. Instead of living wage jobs in economically distressed postindustrial "Gateway" cities such as Pittsfield, the Have Nots receive scratch tickets, nip bottles, cigarettes, booze, pot, and other (voluntary) regressive taxation schemes. While Jimmy Ruberto's Rolodex and its replica are still in Pittsfield, he is a full-time resident of Naples, Florida and a warm weather part-time resident of upscale Lenox. While Linda Tyer's record setting spending municipal budgets are in return for "a shit sandwich" full of Level 5 public schools, violent crime and daily shootings, and the polluted PEDA debacle with millions of dollars in debts and other liabilities, she herself lives in a mansion in a Gated Community within a few feet of the Hancock border. Given all of the elitist politics, I believe that Pittsfield's lack of living wage jobs has benefited the career politicians and their wealthy campaign donors.
Best wishes,
Jon Melle

Letter: "I'm now a single-issue voter on bringing jobs to Pittsfield"
The Berkshire Eagle, April 8, 2023
To the editor: It baffles me that none of our elected representatives sees any need to try to get some industrial development introduced to Pittsfield.
Cities and towns to the north and south of Pittsfield are thriving. Pittsfield is like a hospital patient in a coma. One online shopping venue was given several million dollars when it was supposed to bring hundreds of jobs to this city. And how did that work out?
I have decided on how I am voting for local, state and federal representatives henceforth. I will vote only for those who will actively and aggressively work to bring industry to this city. I want to live in a city that our young want to return to after college. I want a city where non-college youths have a chance at making a decent living again.
Who are those aspiring representatives? When I know who they are, I will work to elect them and and will surely vote for them. Those not interested will get no votes from me.

Sarcasm: I observed an obese resident of Pittsfield riding around the city on a Bird Scooter. He went to the Pot Kingdom on Dalton Avenue and smoked a joint. Then he became hungry, so he went to McDonald's and ate 2 Big Macs, a large order of French fries, and a large soda. His high was wearing off, so he went to the package store and bought himself some nip bottles that he proceeded to litter around the city. He had a few extra dollars, so he went to the A-Mart on North Street and bought four $50 scratch tickets in hopes of winning some easy cash, but he was unlucky and the worthless $50 scratch tickets ended up on littered on the street next to the empty nip bottles. His buzz started to wear off, so he went to one of the drug houses to purchase some of the good stuff from one of the over 1,000 DIE gang members who call inner-city home. On his drug-induced high, he buzzed around the city at lightning speed until he crashed into a car with a city parking ticket on its windshield. He tried to flee the scene, but a police cruiser pulled him over and confiscated his damaged Bird Scooter. He blamed the city government for putting his life at risk, and then he proceeded to file a lawsuit for damages. In his lawsuit, he claimed that Mayor Linda Tyer's administration is sitting on over $17 million in "Free Cash" and that he was seeking damages for emotional distress just like the mayor's third husband Barry Clairmont for financial damages for being overtaxed, while "Kufflinks" sits on his secretive Slush Funds and "Cooks the Books". He said he would drop the lawsuit if Pittsfield State Representative Tricia Farley-Bouvier passed a law legalizing Happy Endings Massage Parlors because he is not lucky with the ladies in town. He said that Becket State Senator Paul Mark should advocate for bigger cash prizes from the state lottery SCAM so that he could have access to easy cash for all of his sinful activities. The Judge dismissed his lawsuit because he did not include Melissa Mazzeo's alleged defamation by speaking out about corruption in Pittsfield politics. He refiled his lawsuit to include that Melissa Mazzeo alleged corruption in Pittsfield politics. His case will go to trial in October 2023 a few weeks prior to the city election a few weeks later on November 7th, 2023. He said that if he loses his lawsuit, he will appeal the decision in a new class action lawsuit with Barry Clairmont because Melissa Mazzeo should not have the right to Free Speech when she alleges corruption in Pittsfield politics. In closing, it all started with the Bird Scooters snarling the streets of Pittsfield, Massachusetts!

I am happy that Pittsfield's legendary football and baseball professional athlete Chuck Garivaltis, who has given a lot of his time to the community, lived into his 80s, but I am sad that he lived through the best to worst in Pittsfield. Chuck saw downtown Pittsfield go from a bustling business district to a place most people who do not rely on social services avoid. Chuck saw Pittsfield go from GE employing over 10,000 residents with blue collar living wage jobs to a postindustrial "City in Decay". Chuck saw Pittsfield' public school district go from quality institutions to Level 5 status. Chuck saw middle class families moving to Pittsfield to over 1,000 gang members taking over the inner-city streets with daily shootings, drugs, prostitution, and all of the other crap that keeps rational people away. Chuck saw state and local politicians investing in the city to them seeing people his age as their personal ATMs in return for rock bottom public services. No wonder that Pittsfield has lost significant numbers of population and living wage jobs over the past 50 years!
I liken Chuck's journey through Pittsfield's dystopian time machine to the movie "Back to the Future: Part II" whereby the career politicians in Pittsfield only want to raise taxes, be crowned Pittsfield's Pot King, live in a mansion in a Gated Community, act like the Godfather of Pittsfield politics from over 1,400 miles away in Naples, Florida, go to Boston's Statehouse to advocate for legalizing "Happy Endings", sue Melissa Mazzeo for defamation because his emotional feelings were hurt in a long ago 2019 municipal election that his second wife, Mayor Linda Tyer, won, selloff two Norman Rockwell donated paintings and other historic artwork in the Berkshire Museum in 2018 for $55 million, having upscale art galleries and museums in London, NYC, and L.A. display large photographs of Pittsfield that are described as "Pittsfield: A City in Decay", having the only economic growth in Pittsfield being its huge underclass population, and Pittsfield always being a city in the top 10 cities in Massachusetts for violent crime, according to the FBI, year-in year-out.
Chuck Garivaltis and his Senior Citizen peers deserved far better than Pittsfield's downward spiral!

I agree with blogger Dan Valenti that downtown Pittsfield doesn't need yet another social services agency. For decades, North Street has been sarcastically called "Social Services Alley". Homeless people are shitting on the sidewalks. Pittsfield's commercial tax rate is one of the highest in the state. It is no wonder that North Street has 15 empty storefronts. Pittsfield's middle-class residents have been shrinking in numbers over the past 50 years. The people who "have not" moved away from Pittsfield are the same "Have Nots" who cannot afford to live somewhere else. Over 1,000 gang members live in inner-city Pittsfield. There are daily shootings, violent crime in Pittsfield is always in the top ten list of cities by population in Massachusetts, and letter writers have stated that they fear for their personal safety and lives. Pittsfield has level 5 public schools with over 650 students per academic year who choice out to neighboring public school districts. How did Pittsfield go into this downward spiral? Where are the politicians who don't live over 1,400 miles away in Naples, Florida or in a mansion in a Gated Community or own a stinky Pot Kingdom on Dalton Avenue, along with a Pot Shop in East Boston?
In 2023's mayoral election, Pittsfield gets to choose between candidate banker, candidate unemployed, or the fringe candidate who we have seen often in the county courthouse. The City Council election is a mere formality for Pete White's promotion to City Council Prez under would-be Mayor Peter Marchetti - 2 Petes in a pod. The School Committee election will see schoolmarm Sara Hathaway return as the teacher they cannot fire and when they tried, she walked away with an undisclosed financial settlement from the city. Mayor Linda Tyer will soon retire and go on to collect a 6-figure city public pension plus perks, along with her multimillionaire CPA third husband Barry Clairmont, who is suing Melissa Mazzeo over her exercising her right to Free Speech and her not apologizing to him for making an alleged false accusation against him in the Fall 2019 election that his second wife, Mayor Linda Tyer, won. There have been people, including Jon Melle himself, who have gone through far worse than Barry Clairmont, in Pittsfield politics, but don't f*#* with the "Big Guy" if you don't want him to sue your @$$ in court! Barry Clairmont should run a distressed postindustrial city with a dangerous downtown full of (shit and) empty storefronts in China or Russia or North Korea or Iran so that he can sue everyone and anyone who exercises their freedom of speech and causes him emotional distress and perceived financial losses. Russia's Putin started out that way and look where the crazy old dictator is today. Putin has a lot more money than Barry because his business plans worked out in his favor.
My political email yesterday was blocked by Mayor Linda Tyer, once again. The irony is that I have been a supporter of Linda Tyer in Pittsfield politics over the past 20 years. I guess that Linda and Barry do NOT like Free Speech in Pittsfield politics (and beyond).
As for RFK, Jr., when he is not suing Daily Kos in two states - New York and California - and when he is not giving speeches referencing Nazi Germany or even to neo-Nazis in Berlin, Germany, he is making more utopian promises than Bernie Sanders did in 2016 when Hillary Clinton lost the presidential election to Donald Trump, who had neo-Nazis work for his presidential campaigns and in his administration. Of course, Joe Biden has a public record of racist language and policies in his over 50 years in the Swamp, but he has made some progress towards racial justice in recent years. If only Joe Biden could stop his troubled son Hunter Biden from making the wealthy multimillionaire Biden political family look bad then he would have more legitimacy in 2024.

Nice JM and true. I gave you a thumbs-up for this one.
Dirty Barry Clairmont will definitely leave behind an infamous legacy, as Pittsfield’s biggest A$$H0LE:
*Getting lost in city hall, only to find his way in the city clerk’s office on election night.
*Under the guise of “picking up a report,” that could have been emailed, etc.
*Was a former useless city councilman.
*Civil litigation against his wife’s political opponent.
*Patrolling the Cumby’s parking lot at 3AM on a frigid-cold, Sunday night, and declaring the city “safe.”
*Posting a social media video, now deleted, of his patrol duties that night.
*Payroll Protection Plan (PPP) Loans-only accountant in USA who couldn’t work remotely.
*Treasurer of Pittsfield’s Revitalization Committee-have you taken a good look at Pittsfield recently?
*Doesn’t realize that a frivolous lawsuit will cause more harm by bringing unwanted publicity to his CPA firm, but not smart enough to understand.
This is just a quick, off the top of my head, list of Barry’s greatest hits and his decline to infamy.

Just don't say that Mayor Linda Tyer's 3rd husband shouldn't have been anywhere near ballots in City Hall during the 2019 election that his 2nd wife, Linda Tyer, won or else Barry Clairmont will sue you four years later for allegedly harming his reputation and thereby cutting into his CPA firm's profit margins without any proof of financial losses. Otherwise, go right ahead and knockout a grandmother or two, shoot up the inner-city streets of Pittsfield and beyond, say your only priority in Boston is to legalize "Happy Endings", stink up residential neighborhoods with a corrupt Pot growing Kingdom on Dalton Avenue, secretly spend over $41 million in "Biden Bucks" and then propose a record high $205.6 million fy2024 municipal budget, and when someone sarcastically calls Affirmative Action policies "DIE", call everyone a racist or a Marxist or a psycho....
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to write that most of the Founding Fathers owned Slaves, Abe Lincoln wanted to forcibly deport all black people from the U.S.A. after the end of the Civil War, as well as signed off on the executions of many Native Americans in the Minnesota Territory, racist and anti-Semitic eugenics, immigration and Jim Crow laws were the law of the land 100 years ago, FDR refused to sign a federal law outlawing the lynching of black people, the federal government continues to spend trillions of dollars on the military industrial complex that has killed millions upon millions of innocent people around the world since the end of WW2, the Pentagon is the single biggest polluter of greenhouse gas emissions in the world, and the only two real kinds of economic growth in the 21st Century are the huge underclass population and the powerful and wealthy financial, corporate and ruling elites who have turned the rigged system into their exclusive Country Club on their elitist Yacht, while the rest of us have to pay for 40-year high U.S. inflation and are looking at a predicted recession later this year of 2023 into 2024.

In response to Mr. Fritz's post: Too bad Valenti didn’t ban you for life from his blog. Waiting for Bosley, Nucifero & Guernsey to sue you for slander.
Blogger Dan Valenti and many posters have libeled and slandered Andrea Harrington, but when I write about the corrupt political establishment's public record and hypocritical letters to the editor, I read that "Bosley, ["Luciforo"] & Guernsey [should] sue [me] for slander".
Sarcasm: I thought that was the job of Mayor Linda Tyer's third husband, the multimillionaire CPA Barry Clairmont, who is suing Melissa Mazzeo for defamation of his character a little less than four years after the 2019 municipal election that his second wife, Linda Tyer, won.
Unlike Barry Clairmont, I never sued "Luciforo" or anyone else connected to his abusive and corrupt political network for defamation of my character and related alleged wrongdoings over the past 27 years of my adult life.
If the corrupt political establishment actually sued me for slander, it would be very interesting to me given all that I went through at their dirty hands in Pittsfield politics to the secretive Golden Dome on Beacon Hill.
Hell would freeze over before "Bosley, ["Luciforo"] & Guernsey" would write a letter to the editor criticizing the corrupt political establishment because then they would have to look at themselves in the proverbial mirror of self-reflection instead of only unfairly blaming the Andrea Harringtons and Jon Melles of the political world for participating freely in our government.

Hello blogger Dan Valenti,
I posted a link to a news story from MassLive about Food Insecurity being the greatest in Western Massachusetts on your blog, Planet Valenti, and the replies I read did, indeed, shock me. I thought I was doing a service to your readers by pointing out that the state government is doing disservices to the western region of the state. I thought that I was being compassionate to those who are most in need of government assistance programs. Instead, I was linked to Tricia Farley-Bouvier's support for illegal immigrants and her other uber liberal causes. I am upset by this. I am proud to support Linda Tyer, Andrea Harrington, and at times, Tricia Farley-Bouvier when her heart is in the right place. I am upset with Mayor Linda Tyer for not issuing a statement that Free Speech is a protected right after her third husband Barry Clairmont's retribution lawsuit against Melissa Mazzeo that stems from the 2019 mayoral election that his second wife, Linda Tyer, won. I view the multimillionaire CPA Barry Clairmont as being off base because many other people have suffered through smear campaigns, mean-spirited and vindictive politics, and being mistreated, including Jon Melle himself, and nobody has ever sued the mudslingers over it.
Best wishes,

Thank you, Charles Ivar Kronick, for being "the center of controversy" and getting a lot done in Pittsfield politics. After reading the posts about the "DIE" office you unsuccessfully opposed, I ask you and others:
"Why is it O.K. for Mayor Linda Tyer's 3rd husband, the multimillionaire CPA Barry Clairmont, to sue a woman politician and community activist named Melissa Mazzeo for exercising her right to making Free Speech accusations against him in the 2019 election that his second wife, Mayor Linda Tyer, won, but Pittsfield's city government is paying over 6-figures per fiscal year for the new DEI Office to publicly advocate for women and minorities in Pittsfield from being treated illegally and/or unfairly?"

I asked Peter Marchetti if he likes Pickleball. He replied that question is not for a Master Debater like himself.
I asked John Krol if he likes Pickleball. He replied that PEDA is not for vegetarians.
I asked Karen Kalinowsky if she likes Pickleball. She replied that bike lanes should not go through Pickleball courts.
I asked Craig Gaetani if he likes Pickleball. He replied that Pickleballs float in the water, but the PCBs have to be cleaned off and then put in a capped leaky landfill next to Allendale Elementary School.
I asked the Pittsfield City Clownsil candidates if they liked Pickleball. They told me that Pickleball doesn't belong in Pittsfield's Pot Kingdom on Dalton Avenue that puts the green bills into city coffers.
I asked the School Committee candidates if they liked Pickleball. They told me that anything that is not rated Level 5 does not concern them.
I asked Mayor Linda Tyer if she liked Pickleball. She said that Pickleball is vibrant and dynamic.
I asked Linda's 3rd husband Barry Clairmont if he liked Pickleball. He replied that the Pickleball defamed his character for saying he was in the Pickleball room prior to the big game.
I asked TFB if she liked Pickleball. She said that only if it has a Happy Ending.
I asked Paul Mark if he liked Pickleball. He said that only if it meets the approval of State Senate President Karen Spilka.
I asked Richie Neal if he like Pickleball. He said that if it is not on K Street in the Swamp, he could care less.
I asked Ed Markey if he liked Pickleball. He said that it is popular in his hometown of Chevy Chase, Maryland.
I asked Elizabeth Warren if she liked Pickleball. She said that she fully supports the nation's biggest Pickleball and his 2024 reelection.
I asked Joe Biden if he liked Pickleball. He said that he is proud of his Pickleball Junior son, Hunter.

Craig Gaetani is misguided about Pittsfield politics because the state government in Boston underfunds distressed "Gateway" cities such as Pittsfield. Moreover, the inequitable state government in Boston systemically mocks Pittsfield with its financial shell games, state tax giveaways to the state corrupt career politicians' wealthy campaign donors that don't exist in Pittsfield, and (voluntary) regressive taxation schemes such as the multibillion-dollar state lottery SCAM that really allows wealthy people and big businesses to pay less state taxes. Pittsfield has no real political representation in Boston and beyond to the Swamp, but I am sure that Craig Gaetani and blogger Dan Valenti know all of this all too well, of course.
I praise Craig Gaetani for being a voice for the Have Nots and common citizens of Pittsfield. He says that people need to show up and speak out at city meetings, but he omits that Pittsfield politics other name is RETRIBUTION! When a Have Not and/or common citizen shows up and speaks out, he or she faces mudslinging, vicious rumors, having their family members become vulnerable to harassment (institutional bullying), losing their job, being blacklisted from finding a new job, having false allegations made against them to the police, having to move away to a new locale, and on and on.
Craig Gaetani said that the largest employer in Pittsfield is the City of Pittsfield, the city and (Level 5) public school managers received pay raises of up to 8 percent on July 1st, 2023, the underclass, and low- to moderate-income residents are paying taxes to subsidize the city and public-school highly paid managerial employees, and that while Pittsfield's population went from being over 60,000 many years ago now to around 40,000 in 2023, Pittsfield's current municipal operating budget is over $205.6 million, Pittsfield has around $100 million in municipal debt plus over $400 million in OPEB unfunded liabilities, and so on.
Blogger Dan Valenti said that when it comes to constrained discretionary income, the people who pay local taxes in Pittsfield are the highest taxed residents in Massachusetts. Both Craig Gaetani and blogger Dan Valenti pointed that the managerial level city and public-school employees are retiring with 6-figure public pensions plus perks (for life).
Overall, I enjoyed listening to blogger Dan Valenti interview Craig Gaetani. He is a public advocate for the Have Nots and common people who live in Pittsfield.

Sarcasm: I asked Barry Clairmont if the settlement of his civil lawsuit against Melissa Mazzeo will impact Free Speech in Pittsfield politics. He told me that he would make a great official in countries such as China, Russia, North Korea, Iran.... I told him that Pittsfield is in the U.S.A., not those other countries. He kicked me out of the Gated Community that he lives in with his second wife, Mayor Linda Tyer, along with Pittsfield's Pot King "Luciforo". I shouted to him that he is in (no) good company with Nuciforo. He said that he is going to sue the next Mayor of Pittsfield to change the city's name to RETRIBUTION! I shouted out to him that he should change Pittsfield's name to Barry's RETRIBUTION. He told me to go back to my homelessness sidewalk on the corner of First and Fenn Streets. I am not good enough to live in a mansion in Barry Clairmont and "Luciforo's"Gated Community that is west of Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield.

Blogger Dan Valenti reported:
CLAIRMONT LAWSUIT AGAINST MAZZEO SETTLED …
By Dan Valenti
PLANET VALENTI News and Commentary
ADD 1 9-26-2023 p.m. — Breaking news. The defamation case launched by Barry Clairmont, husband of Mayor Linda Tyer, against Tyer’s mayoral opponent Melissa Mazzeo has been settled. We’ll have more later.
THE PLANET got word through our spies, and we got on the horn to Mazzeo, who confirmed the out-of-court agreement had been reached.
Watch now. THE PLANET is breaking this news. It won’t be long before The Boring Broadsheet contacts the principals in the case and claims they got it first.
Bet the house.
ADD 2 later 9/26/2023 p.m. — Mazzeo said she settled based on her insurance company’s recommendation. Last week, Mazzeo’s insurers paid Clairmont $140,000.
“I wanted to take this to court,” Mazzeo told THE PLANET, “but [the insurance company] wanted the case settled and off the books. I agreed. It would have been costly [and time consuming] to hire private representation, so in August, we went to mediation in Boston. We went from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. That’s when [Clairmont] dropped the defamation charge and changed it to ‘pain and suffering,’ which is much easier to prove than defamation.”
She said Clairmont came into arbitration demanding an unrealistic amount of money as well as a public apology. She said there’s no way she would ever agree to an apology or the initial amount sought in damages, because her claims were correct. Her insurance lawyer negotiated downward toward a much more favorable number, she said.
“[Clairmont] was behind the counter [where the votes were being counted]. He shouldn’t have been there. He had direct access to the ballots. I didn’t say he stole ballots, only that he had access to them. The recount was the only way we could be assured [of an honest tabulation].
“I wanted to go to trial,” Mazzeo said. “I wanted to take jurors to city hall to show how Clairmont went to where the votes were being held.” She says he didn’t use the public entry to city hall like every other private citizen but entered the inner sanctum through doors for official use only.
“I stand by my charges,” Mazzeo said.

Are you, B. Clairmont, really a citizen of Russia or China or North Korea or Iran....because you sued and settled with Melissa Mazzeo over her use of Free Speech? Did you, B. Clairmont, know that Pittsfield is in the U.S.A., which entitles Melissa Mazzeo to Free Speech? What kind of precedent have you, B. Clairmont, set in Pittsfield politics by using retribution against Melissa Mazzeo for her exercising Free Speech? I have yet to read anyone, including The Dirty Bird (Berkshire Eagle) and Planet Valenti, affirm your civil lawsuit and settlement of $140,000. Your second wife, Mayor Linda Tyer, should have issued a statement saying that while she loves her third husband, CPA Barry Clairmont, she denounces your use of retribution in Pittsfield politics over Melissa Mazzeo exercising Free Speech!

LITIGIOUS Pittsfield politics:
Mayor Linda Tyer's 3rd husband multimillionaire CPA Barry Clairmont sued and recently settled his lawsuit versus Melissa Mazzeo for $140,000. He wanted her to publicly apologize to him for saying that he was in the City Clerk's Office close to the voters' ballots close to election day in November 2019, but she refused, so he sued and recently settled with her in 2023. So much for FREE SPEECH! Pittsfield politics other name is RETRIBUTION!
Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior's Berkshire Roots is suing the City of Pittsfield for $440,000-plus. Nuciforo is essentially arguing that Mayor Linda Tyer acted in BAD FAITH with his marijuana company over Berkshire Roots' HCAs payments to the city. The irony is that Nuciforo is the DISGRACED former FRINGE politician turned Pittsfield Pot King, NOT Mayor Linda Tyer. Nuciforo's long disgraced public record may be used against him in the legal proceedings at the Berkshire Superior Court, which would lead to him losing his lawsuit against the City of Pittsfield.

John Krol said he may sue the named and unnamed people who accused him of embezzlement from years ago. John Krol said it was a political hit job by the Berkshire Eagle newspaper. John Krol was never afforded his day in court by his accusers. What do his accusers have to hide here? We will never know, of course. It is too easy to point the finger against John Krol without his accusers having to face due process of law whereby they would be questioned under oath, too. It is a one-sided mudslinging attack meant to bias Pittsfield voters against John Krol's candidacy for Mayor in 2023.
Peter Marchetti is being sued as part of the management team at Pittsfield Co-op Bank in Federal Court for allegedly harassing and discriminating against former bank employee Victoria May. Peter Marchetti allegedly verbally abused the former female bank employee by allegedly calling her "a bitch", among other allegations. If a would-be Mayor Peter Marchetti acts similarly in City Hall, then city taxpayers will pay for his alleged temper tantrums in would-be future lawsuits.

My reply to you, Barry Clairmont, is that I am a Linda Tyer supporter in politics since 2003. She was one of the best in the Berkshires elected officials in my lifetime. I agree with you when you said that she was the best Mayor of Pittsfield in recent decades. That being said, I wish you and Linda a wonderful life together.
As I recall, you won a 6-figure legal settlement in your several years-long defamation lawsuit versus Melissa Mazzeo. She should have chosen her criticisms of you being near the City Clerk's Office where the ballots were held in Pittsfield City Hall close to the 2019 municipal election that your aforementioned 2nd wife won back then more carefully.
You are a multi-millionaire CPA who owns a mansion in Pittsfield's elitist Gated Community west of Berkshire Community College. Also, you served on the Pittsfield City Council years ago. Your 2nd wife, Linda Tyer, was the Mayor of Pittsfield for 8 years from 2016 - 2023. Your successes far outnumber the accusatory statements that Melissa Mazzeo made about you over 4 years ago now after she lost the mayoral election in 2019.
Many people, including myself, along with The Berkshire Eagle's editorials, have criticized your defamation lawsuit versus Melissa Mazzeo. You had merit, obviously, but politics is an arena full of mudslinging.
I never sued "Luciforo" over his alleged abuses against me over the past a little less than 28 years now since I was 20 years old and my dad successfully campaigned for the elected office of Berkshire County Commissioner in 1996. I do not rule out suing Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior, especially because he is suing the City of Pittsfield over his pot permits HCAs payments of $440,000 years ago, along with his other marijuana lawsuit that he recently filed in Boston to try to take away unions in the Massachusetts marijuana industry workplace. I wonder how Nuciforo would like it if the tables were turned on him and he was to be sued?
Stay strong, Barry Clairmont. You asked me a fair question. I hope that you will accept my answer.

Re: Open letter to Charles Ivar Kronick
Hello Charles,
I posted my response to your essay about the Founding of the U.S.A. beginning in the Spring 1775. I am NOT targeting you. I am exercising my FREE SPEECH.
Indeed, I am a victim of Pittsfield politics mostly due to the actions of an EVIL man named Andrea Francesco Nuciforo Junior, who is sarcastically called "Luciforo", as well as "Pittsfield's Pot King".
It has been over the past +28 years of my 49-year-old life that Nuciforo has conspiratorially bullied and hurt me in Pittsfield (Massachusetts) and beyond. He is a DISGRACED politician, and a corrupt Attorney, and he used his connections in Pittsfield and Boston alike to make millions of dollars off of the state's predatory marijuana industry since he founded "Berkshire Roots" in early-2017.
I admire you for standing up to the evil men (and women) who run Pittsfield politics when you served as the city's poorest Ward 2 City Councilor. As I live in Southern New Hampshire, you now live in Vermont. I am happy for both of us to have moved away from Pittsfield like the many thousands of people have done over the past 50 years.
Likewise, I have no bad thoughts of you either. In fact, my thoughts of you are good thoughts. I like that you tell me how you feel about my political writings. I have many friends who support Donald Trump for U.S. President in 2024. I respect their political beliefs as equal to my own. I choose to support Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for the U.S. Presidential ticket in 2024.
I enjoyed reading your essay on Planet Valenti. Please keep up the good work in politics.
Best wishes,
Jonathan A. Melle
Just prior to the beginning of the Revolutionary War, the American British Colonies were taxed a net sum of 2 weeks per year of their incomes. In 2024, the U.S. taxpayers are taxed many months of their incomes, and the U.S. national debt is currently over $35 trillion and always increasing in red ink.
The Massachusetts government asked King George III for a bail out. The King of England declined and he told his subjects to raise taxes. Massachusetts was bankrupt in the mid-1770's. Also, many of the mostly slave owning Founding Fathers were deep in personal debts. MONEY played a BIG part in the Revolutionary War.
Enter religion to argue that that God granted the American subjects that natural rights of self-determination. Enter politics by arguing that taxation without representation in the government is unjust. Enter France, which provided financial and military aid to the Founding Fathers.
Please understand that 18th Century France outlawed Slavery, and that black citizens of historic France were equal under law there. The Declaration of Independence was written to appeal to France to ally with the Founding Fathers versus King George III and Great Britain.
The Founding Fathers lied to France by saying that Slavery in the American Colonies was the fault of the British Empire because when they defeated the King George III's British Armed Forces, most of the Founding Fathers continued to own Slaves throughout their natural lives in the newly formed United States of America.
The Native American Peoples were the victims of GENOCIDE from the 17th Century through the 19th Century. Their lands were stolen. U.S. President Andrew Jackson's pogroms against the Natives are compared to Adolf Hitler's Holocaust against the Jewish People and "the others". NOTE: The U.S. and U.K.-led Allied Forces defeated Nazi Germany in 1945 and ended Hitler's EVIL and TRAGIC Holocaust.
While Judeo-Christian Religion(s) are the Foundation(s) of our society and government, I have to ask: "How were the Founding Father's and the U.S. Government they formed religious given the Institution of SLAVERY and the GENOCIDE(S) of the Native American Peoples?"
Since the end of WW2 in the mid-1940's, the U.S. Government made the U.S. Military Industrial Complex the cornerstone of the U.S. economy and Wall Street has made trillions of dollars in profits off of endless wars. But at what cost?
Since the end of WW2, many millions of innocent people around the world have been killed at the hands of the U.S. Government's military and intelligence operations. The U.S. Government's number one non-farm export to the world are arms sales.
In the 21st Century, more and more countries are turning to authoritarianism instead of democracy. Over the past 50 years, the middle-class U.S. family unit has greatly diminished, while the underclass population is always growing larger in numbers. All of the income gains except for a paltry average net gain of $5 per week has gone to the financial, corporate and ruling elites. Is this what American Democracy is supposed to look like?
In closing, I do NOT understand why U.S. history and today's inequitable political system is so glorified. To say that we are founded on religion and democracy when it flies in the face of facts is really propaganda.
I love my country and God, but I dissent against my government, as well as organized religion.
